Frequently Asked Questions  eg  How Do I Do Something

Is my Personal Information Safe

For Room Listers

When your Property is Listed on Women Sharing a Home no personal details are displayed in search results accept for Christian Names.  No addresses are shown .. just suburb.

It is only once a Room Seeker has sent a contact request through the site would the Room Lister consider providing personal contact details and only after they have reviewed the Room Seekers Profile.  See Managing Contact

For Room Seekers

Only women who have registered as a Room Lister via the My Account button or the I Need a Flatmate button can search for and review people who have registered as a Roomer.  Only Christian names, requirements and short descriptions are provided as output to the search results … no personal contact information or Surnames. No Email addresses or Phone numbers.  This allows ONLY the Room Listers to seek out and contact women they feel may be a good match for their property. This contact can only be done via the Room Listers’ My Account Dashboard and it will be sent through the Women Sharing a Home site as an internal request.  Only if both parties feel comfortable with each other would you share contact details and progress flatmate discussions.

Room Seekers can not be searched by an unregistered user of the Website.

How Much Does it Cost to Register

To register as a Roomer ( someone looking for accommodation ) is absolutely free.

To Register as a Room Lister and list a Room is currently free as well. But this will Change.  The small fee that will be charged next year ( Approx $25 ) will allow us to keep the site operational and will allow us to provide expanded facilities as the site grows.
